1995 Ford Escort Suddenly won't start battery and starter o

My car has been running well, it has a relatively new battery and starter and was recently tuned and flushed. I went to start it and it has no power at all. I am wondering if there is a kill switch that could have been activated accidently or if the problem could be a relay switch or what? I appreciate your help and suggestions.

Have you checked the starter relay? Also, with a helper turning the key to the start position, check to see if there are 12 volts to the smaller wire on the starter.

Let me know what you find.
