1994 Ford Escort CYL DROPS

My car runs fine but then the motor starts ticking and then somthing klicks and #4 cyl is dead the car stops running you start it back up and it misses for a little bit and then it runs fine I took the head off and had it checked out the shop man sed it was fine the ticking sounds like it is comming form the rear of the engine could it be a fuel injector

Could be clogged injector need to use a mechanic stethoscope and listen to the injectors to see if they are all clicking properly.

And it's just dropping one cylinder? Is the engine light on or have you tried getting trouble codes yet? May want to do compression check as well on cylinders.
