1994 Ford Escort 94 car wont start

94 escort doesnt start unless its jumped. The batery is brand new and the alternator is charging, car runs fine unless its turned off and wont start again. When the key is on the car has no power anywhere.

Remove battery terminals clean and or replace and then tighten
have the battery checked again

need manual CHECK IT @
