Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Ford Escort 4 cyl Manual 80,000 miles

so it over heats, I can bypass that when I use the A/C constantly, I get 40 miles to the gallon so that's not an emidiate problem. It burns coolant in the radiator with no leakage. Possible craked head or wall? Also when I apply pressure to my break the engine dies sometimes if I pop my clutch it starts again. Someone mentioned that it might be a vacuum hose but I have no idea what that looks like or where to find it. I am fairly new to driving a stick but I know its not dying because of me. My uncle took it for a spin and had the same problem. My son is two and I work two jobs so I spend alot of time in the car and I just want it to be safe for us. Help?

I think you have a cracked head or headgasket. Is it smoking form exhaust(white). That's where yur water is going. It's stalling because water is getting onto plugs and killing the spark? You need to get this looked at, it won't last much longer by just using the A/C.
