I had a gentleman start on some work replacing and fuse (100A) but he never finished. I ended up doing it myself and my car used to both cut off while I was driving AND not start at all. I was able to just wiggle it and the car would start but now that is not working anymore. I AM in fact missing a bolt on the front end. DO you think that is the reason I am not getting a charge?

That will infact cause alot of problems.

That bolt missing is preventing electrical contact from being made. Glad you have foudn that replace the bolt and clean up the contacts and you should be good to go.
