2001 Ford Escape AC

Our Escape tends to loose AC when we are traveling for no reason. We have had it in numerous dealerships for service and they can't find the problem. A year ago we insisted they add freon and it helped for a while. Yet the mechs cant find a leak.

May be aleak under the dash in the evaporator core. N A/C leak detector chould be able to pick this up. Sometimes the leaks are very small and will only really leak when the system is running and the high side is at full pressure 200psi +
