2005 Ford E-Series Van The Air Conditioner will not shut do

The Air Conditioner on the Van will not turn off when I leave it n but turn the car off at its key. I have to turn the A/C off at ts switch so it will then turn off. What is wrong? It used to turn off OK when I shut the car down.

Sounds like a typical power distribution box prob this is the fuse box you should have it checked by a dealer. They will typically go bad and cause strange elec problems such as lights not comeing on or going off switches staying powered on 12v instead of accessory. Good luck billymac
