just rplaced leaky radiator but enjine over heat in 5 minutes also replaced thermostate could it b a water pump

Hello,

The most likely cause is an air bubble in the engine. They are a pain to get out. You can jack up the front of the car as high as you can safely do and run engine with radiator cap loose. You may need to run it for a while just keep eye on temp. Jacking it up will help bubble move to highest point which should bring it to the Thermostat. Might also help if remove thermostat.
