I own a 1995 ford conour lx. I have only had the car for about a week and a half and twice my car wouldnt even turn over. I would crank but it'd just keep trying to turn over but wouldnt. The first time I was at school and it did this to me and after a while it finally started. Now the second time I was at the grocery store and it did it again and this time I took it to a mechanic (had it towed). The mechanic now cant find anything that would make my car do this.

Replace the starter. This also just happened with me and my 1995 ford contour.I had some trouble starting my car for about a wk. Then one day it wouldn't turn over at all. After it was towed it started right up for the mechanic! He said the vibration of the tow did it and to just go ahead and replace the starter because it would just continue to happen. Haven't had a problem since.
