Hello, I have a 2008 model Ford Tourneo Connect vehicle. I detected a short circuit on the GEM module motherboard with code 2T1T-15K600-CD because the door lock, alarm and remote control do not work. I need a schematic diagram about the module to repair it. I would be glad if you could help me.

If you are asking for board level schematics to replace parts, that is something we wouldn't have. For that you might want to ask Maic over at his site.

Www. Maicsalazardiagnostics. Com

He does board level repairs and might be able to help.

Why didn't you use the "Transit" option for your question instead of AA? Please repost in the correct forum.

I would do a CAN scan to see if there are any codes for the GEM, here is a video to show you how:

Here are the wiring diagrams needed to help see how the system works. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

The Transit Connect didn't come to the US until 2010 which is still the first-generation unit so these diagrams for a 2010 should be close to what you have. From the description it almost sounds like a bad GEM. What you might try is to disconnect the battery, wait 10 minutes and reconnect. See if the module resets. If not, then you will need a proper scan tool that you can use to test the system. Also use the manual key to lock and unlock the doors one at a time and see if anything changes.

Ford Transit Connect was produced only in my country, TÃ rkiye, between 2002-2013. It was sent to America and every country. In fact, Ford Custom is currently produced only in TÃ rkiye, but we get information about the car from you, America. The employees here do not give it, isn't it interesting? :)

Actually happens a lot. There are many places where you can buy vehicles but cannot get the service information on them unless you are a dealership. Some brands are worse than others though. I have friends in Japan and scattered across Europe and the UK and they are shocked that we have the amount of service information we have access to.

My 16-year-old car's remote control stopped working for the first time. I've been dealing with this for a week and the alarm goes off when I lock and unlock the car. I've changed the remote control battery 3 times and checked all the fuses, no problem. I think the problem is in the gem module, so I asked for a schematic. What else should I do? As far as I know, my car model doesn't have a receiver antenna. Am I wrong? What should I do?

It has an antenna. Plugs into the remote entry module. You need to go to the GEM and check the powers and grounds as shown in the earlier diagrams. If the powers and grounds are OK but the module isn't working correctly you get a new GEM and program it for your car. If you are looking for a board level schematic IE you are taking the module apart to repair the actual board, those are not available.

If the module receiver antenna is intact, I will do what you say. Where is the receiver antenna of my vehicle? In the photo I sent in the attachment, it says that the gray cable coming out of the gem module is the antenna. I can't find where this gray cable goes, I want to see if the receiver is intact. Does this gray cable go to the remote entry module?

The antenna is inside the harness, not external. It runs from the module up toward the A-pillar.

I can't find this damn remote control antenna. I need to check if it's good. If it's faulty, I can buy a new module for this one. Please show me where it is with a picture. 2008 ford connect gem module remote control receiver
