Engine Performance problem
1993 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Anybody have this problem - cant find fix.

5.8L engine starts just fine; runs just fine; After driving for a period of time and engine gets hot and you turn it off for 15min or so, engine will not start until cools down about 30min.

Engine is not overheating; gauge is running mid-normal; when trying to start seems to be fuel starved; tries to fire the 1st few times; then appears to detonate; then just spins with no firing.

After 30 min cool down, engine starts just fine, sputters a few times, then runs just fine.

Looking for a cause: what would make the engine do this?

thanks

Seems to me that is just another symptom. Something is causing engine to either not spark or fuel.

Doesnt do this except when it is hot and u turn it off and restart later.
