When I drive at highway speeds 50-70 I lose all oil pressure and the valves start making noise like a deisel. So far if I let it cool down and restart, the valves start making noise then quiet down after a short time.

Sounds like your going to need a fresh pony for that Bronco. What does gague read at idle and does it go up when motor is reved?

Thanks Doc. The guage is in the normal range (same place for the first 200K miles) at idle and increases when revved. Also when idling I pulled the oil filler cap (and looked in) and it is dry while running. Does this sound like the Oil pump?

Let's try something oil pressure indicates pump seems good. Dry rocker not good could be some sludge blocking oil from reaching rockers. May still be around see if you can find oil system flush. Follow instructions.
If you can't a little kerosen 1qt. And 1qt. Trans fluid in warm engine 1500rpms for 15 min. Drain new filter & oil. Kind of a lube system enima.
