Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 161K miles

I havea Ford Brocno and it wouldn't start the other day. It will not turn over and seems it is getting no power. I checked the battery and its fine, and I just installed a new altenator. I open the door and the dome light comes on and as soon as I turn the ignition all power is lost and it is completely dead. I think it might be the sellunoid that is connected to the battery, but Im not sure. ANy help is appreciated.

Sounds like a bad connections someplace, check the leads going to the battery. They might look ok but could be corroded. Make sure the ground wires and battery wires are good and clean and have good contact. There is also a wire that connects to the ground by the fuses under the hood, make sure it is clean.
