The coolant and amperage gauges are not reading properly. Looking at the dash gauges they are analog, although the connections are an electrical plastic schematic. What is an option to make them work or read correctly?

Ford amperage gauges rarely worked correctly see is power is coming to coolant gauge it may be a poor connection, other wise you will have to hook your own up with a gauge set. Voltage gauge is much easier and accurate though. They normally come as a set at auto parts. To test cluster it is the red/white wire for coolant. It should blink or have low voltage.
