1989 Ford Bronco engine wont turn over

I have a 89 Ford Bronco full size and I replaced the ignition switch and tumbler, but when I turn the key the engine wont turn over. There is no click sound coming from the engine but the lights turn on inside. I can start the car by having the key on and jumping the solenoid form the outside. Could it be the starter solenoid?

Might be, use a test light to see if you are getting power to the small wire on th esolenoid. If you are then the solenoid is bad, if not get back to me
