Electrical problem
1987 Ford Bronco 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 126K+ miles

My engine will not start, however, it will run if starter fluid is used; at least until the small amount is used up. It will occasionally start and run for less than 30 seconds after sitting overnight. It was running fine, then overnight it would not start. I have replaced the negative terminal (it was old & worn) and both fuel pump relays. It ran fine for a week or so after each of the relays were replaced, then the no start. As far as I can tell, the fusible links are OK. When I turned the key on today, I tried to check for voltage at the positive terminal of the fuel pump and got nothing. When I removed the fuel pump and jumped it off the battery, it immediately spurted fuel. What else can I check or replace?

You need to trace the pump wires back to the rear, sounds like a short. Also check the inertia switch, I think it's at the right kick panel area, this if tripped will shut fuel pump down!

This happened to my 86
there is a fuel shut off switch on the passenger side it is right where all your heating and a/c vents for your feet are
you just need to hold the button for a little while and it should come back on

That would be the inertia switch I mentioned above!
