1987 Ford Bronco Idle at various speeds

My Bronco is sick, it used to idle at 650rpm (in Drive).
Now it idles at 1250 rpm or 1000rpm or occassionally at 650rpm. Book says EFI has no idle adjust. I have just put cleaner in the tank with no improvement.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? It does have an idle air control valve and a throttle position sensor. If one is bad, the check engine light should come on.
