I'm used to a quick flash meaning there's a burned-out turn signal bulb. However, both front and rear are blinking on the side (left) that is on rapid flash. Thoughts?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

You are correct. When the flasher double times, there is a bulb burned out. Do me a favor, confirm that all the lights on the left side are working. Compare them to the right side. I looked over the schematic and see that even the side marker bulbs are tied into the system. If one of them is bad, it could be the cause.

Let me know what you find.

Replaced the side bulbs and still getting rapid flash. What's really odd is that when the turn signal is used at night, a loud tone sounds the entire time until the signal is turned off.

Welcome back.

Is the sound from under the dash? Also, are you certain the bulbs you used are correct and are in the right position.

Sure about the bulbs. They're quite small (the side lights), can only go in one way, and I made sure they were in all the way. And they light up just fine. Front and back turn lights working perfectly. As for the tone, which didn't happen tonight as it did early this morning, sounded like the "door open" sound except as one long, long tone.

Do me a favor. Under the left side of the dash is a turn signal/hazard flasher module. Check if that is where the noise is coming from and let me know. I have a feeling it may be the problem.
