Hello, my car listed above (Kentucky CA emissions) has a broken exterior door handle, broken door latch, and weak door actuator. This was confirmed by a mechanic who wanted $600.00 parts and labor to fix.
Prior to this issue the actuator would lock and unlock doors just fine, so I am not too worried about that part.

Is it possible to go to a scrap yard and remove a door entirely (same trim and paint) and swap it out?
Would this be an easier approach?

Otherwise, how would I go about replacing the latch assembly (most important to completely close door) and exterior door handle?

This car has automatic door locks, power windows, and power side mirrors.

College student looking for a fix! Thanks!

Good evening,

I found used doors for you at www. Car-part. Com. Good site for used parts. The door run from $50.00 to $3,000.00 depending on the condition. You would need to call the yards to see if your door matches theirs.

As far as the parts. I attached the parts for the door as well.
