Good day every one.

I own a Fiat Uno Mia and it won't stop giving problems.

The problem at the moment is that the left front wheel is braking all the time after driven it for about 5 min. This happened before and we took apart the brake caliper and replaced the rubber ring, this enabled it to work again for probable 6 months.

It started again so we replaced the rubber O-ring again as well as the brake disk, brake pads, wheel bearing and hub.

Now it is even worse than before, the wheel gets so hot you can smell it from inside the car and there’s smoke coming from the wheel.

We have tried to jack up the car and drive it then to see what happens but the wheel turns freely and doesn't heat up at all.

My Question is, what must I replace next?

1. The caliper? Could it just be that it is not releasing when the wheel has weight on it? Also is it worth buying a second hand caliper?

2. The brake booster? Could the brake booster cause the one wheel to brake more than the other? The car also pulls to the right after the wheel is hot and you brake (as if only the right front brake works).

3. The brake pipes? Could this cause the left brake not to release?

I don't want to spend to much on this problem but want to sell it in a good working condition although I don't think it's possible with a UNO.

The caliper piston could be binding due to corrosion and brake hose collasped internally acting as a one way check valve-
