Exterior front and tail lights were left on approximately 8 hours overnight. Will this drain battery? And how to start car?

Hi Jermonty,

Yes, leaving the lights on that long will drain the battery. You will need to either jump start it or attach a battery charger to it in order to start it again.

Thanks Tom. I was able to start the car and will get a battery charger. Can you recommend one to me?

Hello,

Well, I like Interstate batteries myself but as long as you don't go with a generic cheap one all the rest should be fine.

As for the battery chargers, one with a setting for jump starting are good and one with a high amp rating is good too.
