This is a new one on me when it comes to cars. So I purchased this car and drove it nearly five hundred miles yesterday drove and ran fine no issues. Today I go to the grocery store and as I am leaving I notice what sounds like an exhaust leak under the hood. Come to find out not an exhaust leak as putting car in park and revving engine all was quiet. Then I noticed turning the wheels to the right stopped this noise. It literally sounds like an exhaust leak coming from under the hood. Also, my ABS light has since come on.

What you hear as a leak my be a shield loose or broken or torque converter bolts loose, have a mechanic scan for code for the abs light to see what is wrong.

Turns out was driver side wheel bearing. Scuffed the rotor pretty bad when it failed. Changed the bearing now I have a constant thumping sound worse when turning right. Could this be that rotor even though it stays the same even when braking

The brakes should have been redone because of the rotor problem it may be warped and check axle for being tight and no damage to that as well. Also check wheel bearing on other side.
