I have a question does anyone know how to check a purge solenoid valve on a focus.I am trying to troubleshoot my 02 sensor, bank 1 sensor 3 stuck on lean.I can't check the fuel pressure it does not have a place for a gauge, you either have to have a scan tool or you can cut the fuel rail. So checking the fuel pressure is out of the question. What would be the best way to check a exhaust leak, I don't hear no exhaust leak but you never know. If anybody has any information I would appreciate it.

Checking the EVAP purge solenoid is easy, just remove the valve and try to blow through it, you should not be able to, if so the valve is bad, here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
