While driving, the car suddenly stopped and did not go into gear. I tried to switch it to manual mode and change gears from the steering wheel, but it was not possible (N was flashing). Then I turned off the engine and after a few minutes I turned it on again. The car started to take the gears normally and I continued the journey. The next day, after I had traveled approximately 60 miles, the car stopped again and after doing the same procedure, it started to shift gears again. I checked it with the computer and in the ECU for error code and found C1237, Speed Sensor Rotor. I really appreciate your advice on how I can fix this.

Where is the Speed Sensor Rotor for the vehicle listed above?
Can it be fixed by cleaning it because the alarm is not active all the time?

Fortunately, the rear ABS wheel speed sensor is built into the bearing hub so if it is a rear bearing going out you can replace the hub and the sensor at the same time. I would start by checking the wiring, and if it looks okay raise the rear of the car to check for play in the rear wheel hub by grasping the wheel at the top and bottom try to move it while looking for excessive play, there should be none.

Thank you very much for your prompt answer. I will replace tires and check the rear bearing and as a second step if the alarm appears again, I am planning to check the clutch and gearbox robot.

I will let you know about the result.

Best regards, Fatmir

This code is for the ABS rear sensors. So, please check the sensors and wiring as well, please let me know how it goes. Also, please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

Hi Ken,

I replaced tires during the weekend and there we found that the P0810 Clutch Position Control Error was active and the other error code C1237 was not active anymore. I am expecting the result of the findings this afternoon. Most probably the clutch needs to be replaced and the gearbox robot needs to be fixed.
I will let you know.

Many thanks for your answers.

Hi Ken,

I am informing you that the clutch replacement and rebuild of the gearbox robot was the solution. I have been driving the car for 2 days now without any issues. Car service recommends going every 7000 KM for the clutch's fine-tune calibration, and they warrant that I will not face a P0810 error for the next 100,000 KM. The total cost was 900 EUR.
I am not going to start a new question. I am writing this update for other members who might face similar problems with their vehicles.

Thanks again for your prompt answer and valuable time.

Best regards, Fatmir
