Erasing codes

Hello, I do appreciate u all being here I have one more question that I would like four you all to help me out with. My code reader will not be here until2-4more weeks& I would like2erase my codes b4 it gets here.I hav watched a few utube movies&they say that there r only2ways guarnteed2erase codes&that they r with the scantool&removing the hot&ground terminals off of the battery&using a jumper wire for about5minutes with the hot and ground connected 2each other not on the battery&then hook the battery backup&take the car for about a20-50 mile relearn process. Could u plez send me&e-mail back asap& tell me if that I should do it or if it will work or not?

That only works sometimes and doing that may set off the security system and car will not start.

Hello, I thank you all very much for your answer and time. Do you all know if that I can cut the security system off first? If you do can you please send me back instructions and walk me through it slow on how to cut the security system off?

You cannot cut the system out. The only way to bypass this system is to get a PCM that is not dependent on it. Meaning it will start the engine with just an ignition switch input and not a specific code.

Please see the attached information below on this system and it will show that we cannot bypass it. Please let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
