I replaced my engine because it blew up. I still used the old engine wire harness because it was somewhat good, even though it was somewhat saturated with oil from the replacement. The problem is, I'm trying to replace the wire harness with a new one, but Chevy/GMC no longer makes the harness, what should I do, or who can remanufacture the harness; not eBay, not trusted?

About the only source you will find for the engine harness would be a salvage yard, The issue then is if they have one that is complete. I hit a few you-pull-it yards and there seem to be many people who just cut the harness rather than unplugging a component. Oil won't really hurt it IF you clean it off reasonably soon, I've used Dawn mixed with water and put in a spray bottle, go over everything you can see and inside any open split loom, then rinse it off. The bigger issue is if the oil got inside the connectors. For that it can be hard, you would need to de-pin the connector, pull it apart and clean it then put it back together.
If it were mine, I would likely hit a you-pull-it, then find 2-3 of the same vehicles and choose the most complete harness. Then go plug by plug and verify everything is the same and swap it. There is also the possibility of using car-part. Com and search to see if a yard near you has a car like yours and call them about a harness. You may still need to repair a connector or two though.
