Looking to swap a 2012 Kia forte 2.0 into a 2014 Kia forte coupe. Need to know if it will swap clean?

Sorry but it's not going to work as a swap. Kia changed the internals in 2013 for the 2014 year. The 14-16 engines interchange and the 2010-2013 will as long as they are the same emission standards, you need a federal engine for federal and a California engine for California standards. That is due to internal differences for the two standards. Kia likes to make things interesting.
