Engine surging

Can feel engine surging while driving. Tachometer will show drop in RPM’s. Just had a new fuel tank sensor installed 3 weeks ago.

Good afternoon,

Is the check engine light on? If it is, can you have the codes checked and let me know.

Some possibilities:

1. Low fuel pressure from a bad fuel pump.

2. Catalytic converter clogged not allowing the engine to breathe.
