Couple of weeks ago after a long drive on highway I stopped at signal and engine stopped. I turned the keys back and started the car and it started normally without any trouble. It happened again after few days at signal but started with no issues. Couple of days ago battery red light and two other orange lights turned on while driving but went off after few minutes. Got alternator and battery checked but they were working fine. Car stopped again yesterday at signal but started normally. Rpms usually fluctuating during idling and car shakes slightly for few seconds when accelerated from stopping but gets very smooth while driving. Mechanic unable to figure the problem out
Looking forward your advice
Thanks

This could be a number of things, but we need to start with this guide to get an idea of what we need to check:

I would start with checking fuel pressure when this happens. I suspect based on what you are seeing that this is a fuel issue and the engine is sputtering as it is running out of fuel then you cycle the key and it primes the engine again.

Here is a guide that will help with this. I would just tape the gauge to the windshield so that it is set up and ready for the next time it happens.

Let us know what happens with this and we can go from there. Thanks
