Engine stalls and shuts off around sixty mph

Replaced fuel pump one month ago. Did not replace fuel filter (may be the problem?). Going down the road, getting speed up to about sixty mph, hard stall to engine shut down. Please advise. Could this be a dirty/clogged filter?

Hello,

When you replace the fuel pump it can pull more amps and you are going to want to replace the fuel pump relay which is what I would check first.
