With the computer that came on it when you start out from a dead stop it will die at 2000 rpm, but start right away. I put a 1999 computer on it and it does not die but cuts out a little and gas pedal does not work.

Put 2000 computer back on as 99 is wrong one then scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. see link.
