After changing engine oil the car started stalling when idle and driving and shifting gears randomly. What could be the cause?

We don't have a manual on this vehicle as it is not offered in the USA so it is hard to know for sure due to not being able to see how the engine operates.

However the obvious things to check are oil levels and to make sure you have the correct filter installed.

The next thing we need to do is check oil pressure and see if it is dropping when this is going to stall. Clearly once the engine does stall it should drop but not before. Let us know what you find. Thanks

Can dirt/muddy oil crust on crankshaft sensor contribute to this matter?

Absolutely. Here is a guide that runs through this but that is not going to be related to the oil change. More then likely it is just a coincidence.

Let us know what you find with this. Thanks
