Engine sounds like there is a birds nest in the engine and constant chirping. I just had the water pump and AC compressor replaced a week ago and there's been chirping noise constantly until the vehicle has been driven for about an hour straight. The only time I've ever heard a noise like that is when I had to replace the belt a couple if months ago. Any ideas? Anyone?

Good evening,

I would start by removing the drive belt and starting the motor and see if the noise is still there. That will tell you it either one of the driven pulleys that is making the noise.

The tensioner is a common failure not keeping the tension correct and the belt wears and the metal ribs start to show.
