I’ve watched your amazing 5.3 ls Lm7 breakdown playlist, and my question is since my engine is the LC9 that comes from the gmt900. Can I use all those exact parts you received from summit racing or is there some small adjustments or tips I need to look out for to do a build just like yours.

They are somewhat similar but they are different generations. The 5.3 in the videos is the later 3rd generation engine while yours is a 4th generation engines. There were a number of changes made in the gen 4 engines like displacement on demand and internal changes in the cam and lifters as a result. There are parts available for them to build some extra power though they are not the same as the LM parts.

Thank you for watching the series!

There is a ton of crossover on parts but before you order anything just check with Summit if it fits your engine. They have a really good fit checker on every single parts page.

Best,
Ryan
