Engine runs after pressing off button?

The car listed above will stay running after pressing the off button. Everything else powers down including radio, dash interior and exterior lights. The only way I've found to shut it off is pulling the ECM ignition fuse, but you can still hear a humming sound like something is still drawing power. After a day of sitting the battery is dead (new battery) and needs jumped. Help!

Hi,

That is an interesting one. Because of the electronics involved, I feel the best place to start is by scanning the can-bus system.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

It is throwing code P069E which is FPCM issue I wouldn't think those would be related by preventing car to not shut off but I could be wrong.

Solved. I took it to a dealership they traced it back to two corroded wires under the trunk that was causing issues. Replaced both and now runs great.
