My engine had a faulty oil line to the turbo. When I replace the engine will the turbo need to be replaced or can it be rebuilt? Trying to make sure I get a good quote for what needs to be done.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, if the oil line to the turbo malfunctioned I would definitely have the turbo rebuilt. The oil from the engine is ran through the turbo to act as a lubricant and to help heat dissipation. If the turbo was starved of engine oil I'm sure the bearings are ruined. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
