Is the service engine light on? If so, get it scanned. You can have that done for free at your local AutoZone, Advance Auto, or O'reilly Auto Parts. Write the code(s) down and post them here.

If you are using a low quality fuel, the engine computer could be detecting something called pre-ignition -or- spark knock. Basically, the fuel quality is low enough that it is burning just a little earlier than it is supposed to. The computer makes some adjustments and scales back your power a little in order to compensate and keep the engine running somewhat smoothly.

At least that is my understanding.

Let us know and we will go from there.

A really common issue that causes this is a dirty/faulty throttle body. The TPS assembly starts to fail from bad contact inside the unit.
However, that is not the only cause as transmission and engine issues both can trigger reduced power.
