When driving after hitting a hard bump or rough road engine will misfire, resulting in the gas gauge falling to ‘E’ or it will stall completely. Could it be a loose spark wire, a fuel pump/filter issue?

Hi,

Do you know if there are any codes? This sounds like a loose ground or possible loose connection somewhere else. It is unlikely that it is a loose spark plug or fuel pump issue because if it "fixes" itself without you doing anything then more than likely it is a ground or connector.

Hopefully you have some codes and that will point us in a better direction. If you don't have a scan tool then most parts stores can pull the codes for you.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks
