Engine sputters and acts like it wants to shut off when decelerating

When slowing down and braking at a stop sign the engine sputters and wants to shut off, but doesn't actually shut off. Other wise it runs fine. Thanks

This could be an EGR valve stuck open causing a massive vacuum leak.
