When driving the car will miss then lose power light will start to blink pull over and then it will stay on as i stop it will run rough. Turn car on after awhile and lite stays on but not blinking drive home and start after a couple of hours. Lite is off and running fine no rough idle. Has been happening over and over. Replaced camshaft sensor plugs and 1 coil pak.

Good afternoon,

I would start with replacing the plugs. It sounds like an engine misfire. I always start with the basics.

Thank you for the response. i forgot to say i did replace the plugs also. Codes were p0300 and p0301 multiple misfire and cylinder one. so that is why i replaced the one coil pak additional code was crankshaft sensor. replaced it also the one code i am not sure needs addressing is p0335 airbag. i am almost sure this will not cause the symptoms that i have. Almost acts like it jumps time but i would think that if that was the case it would not reset to normal after sitting. today it started happening at start up and hard to start when in this condition. But when i got home and started it again light was out and running fine. could this be a sign of a electrical issue?

Okay I would do a compression test on the cylinders to be sure the engine is internally good.

Yes it could. That is why you need to check it. You have to start somewhere and that is where we start.

Beyond that, it could be plugs, coil, injector or a vacuum leak but the basics need to be verified first.
