Hello, I'm Danny.

Do you have any information as to what the codes were?Having the check engine light on means there is a trouble code stored in the vehicles computer. What code you described doesn't make sense. It will be a 5 digit code starting with a letter followd by 4 numbers. If you don't have access to a scanner/code reader most local auto parts stores will check for free or have a tool loaner program and will rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

After this is performed get back to us with the code numbers and we can then properly diagnose the problem with your vehicle.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thank you so much. The light is still on I will see if I can get the code. They say on YouTube to click and click and the code comes on and that's want appeared. Huh, I had my gas cap light come on, maybe it's that. I do not know. Thanks again

Hello again.

Yes, you can try to tighten the gas cap. Make sure you get like 3 clicks after tightening. If that doesn't solve the light from coming off I know that AutoZone auto parts stores will check your codes for free. Hope this helps and again thanks for using 2CarPros.
