I have the car listed above GT. I just put a new motor in and I went to crank it and it won't start. Brand new battery and starter. I'm hearing a clicking noise but not from starter when I try to crank.

Hello,

This sounds like you could have a problem with your ignition switch. It could have a short in it and you are hearing the electricity arcing. Another possibility would be that the starter relay is bad. Other than that, besides the wires from ignition switch to relay, and the wire from relay switch to starter, the only other thing it can be is the starter solenoid on top of the starter. I would start with the ignition fuse.
I have included a few on vehicle troubleshooting guides for you in the diagrams down below as well as the Starting Circuit Wiring Diagram. Please go through them and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
