I have purchased a 1996 Ford Mustang, 2dr Coupe, V6 - 3.8L, it is doing the following things:

1. Start drive to the store, come back will not start.
2. Driving it is will die, and there will a complete lose of power, dead completely.
3. It will start drive a few times and then it will not start at all and will have to wait for hours before it will start again.

these are the things that have been done to the car as now 1. New fuel filter, 2. New coil, 3. New gas cap. The ignition was broken when purchased and repaired by a friend in the column, key spun in the column, can this have anything to do with this intermint problem I am having the pin had slipped off the cylinder, and spun in a cicle, repaired, help I am desperate have interviews lined up and no transportation.

When it dies, check to see if you have spark and fuel to the engine. Also, check the EEC relay under the hood in the relay block. Switch it with another relay with the same part number. See it that makes a change.
