I had to replace the starter on my suburban. I was able to do so without any problems. I did it faster than it took for a tow truck to get to my location for pickup.

The Suburban starts up and the engine runs smooth. The problem is it won't shift out of park. The interior lights won't come. I am getting dashboard messages for every system being off. The passenger side windows do not work.

One other bit of information, but it may not matter whatsoever. My infotainment LCD is cracked in several places by way of an angry umbrella. I was able to control the radio via the steering wheel but now the steering wheel controls don't work either.

I appreciate any help that I am able to get. Thank You

I would start by checking the fuse #7 at the battery fuse panel which is 60 amp and runs the systems you are describing. Sometimes when you reconnect the battery you can have a voltage surge which will pop the fuse. Here is a guide to help you.
