Hi, my car gave me check engine. I plugged opd 2 diagnostic and gave me code (P0400).
Which mean default EGR valve. I want replace it. My question is, the original one number is

( 9E5G-9D475-AA)

I found the part in epay that the site said it fits my car but the number of new part little different from original one which is the number below

( 1S7G9D475AH)

What is your advice?
The original one is pricey.
Can I go ahead any buy this new item? Again the site said it fits my car.
Thanks

Hello,

Yes you can. Every aftermarket parts manufacturer has different parts numbers for their parts, so the part numbers will never match up. Some of the bigger and more reputable aftermarket parts manufacturers will offer a parts cross reference guide that will show the different parts numbers that match the original OEM parts number. If you are still unsure you can call or write an email to the reseller and get confirmation that way. Also sites like Rock Auto, AutoZone, etc. Have exact after market parts that are less expensive than the OEM parts, usually with a warranty for added piece of mind. I hope this helps and please report back with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
