Okay, as I'm going down the road at almost any speed the car will just shut off. I don't lose power, but it shuts off and as soon as I pull over, I put the key in it take the key out and put it back in at restart I get a code that says it's losing Communications with the ECU check the wire harness. I've replaced my throttle body and it's still doing the same thing. Does that mean it has to be the ECU or what do I need to do? It starts and runs but it'll just shut off at the oddest time. It could be five minutes and could be 15 minutes yet, but it will shut off.

Hi,

It sounds like an issue with the can-bus system. CAN stands for controller area network. By chance, do you have the specific codes that were retrieved?

I need to know the code because that will direct me in the right direction. Multiple things could lose communication with the ECU and cause it to stall.

Let me know. Also, let me know as much as you can that you feel may help me further diagnose the issue.

In the interim, here is a link you may find helpful:

Take care,
