ECT wire diagram one wires brown second wire is white have

When taking the clip off temperature sensor it shattered to pieces I have no idea what wire goes where. I can't find a diagram anywhere on the internet. Can you please help?

Hi,

Both wires go to the powertrain control module (PCM). If you look at the pic below, it shows the sensor and wiring.

To add to the above, the brown wire is the ground to the sensor while the white wire is the signal to the PCM it measures the resistance in the circuit to determine coolant temperature. On the part that the connector plugs into the clip side up, the brown wire goes to the left pin white on the right pin.

That is a standard connector that most parts stores should be able to get for you as a pigtail to replace the bad one. Just be sure to replace it correctly to keep the resistance correct. Here are a couple videos on methods. You don't need the fancy tools in the first video.
