Eclipse shuts off

I have a 97 eclipse gs with a 420a my car runs great and than all of a suddenly it shuts off like I turn the key of. Their no sound I can barely tell it shut off what could this be I put a new fuel filter in ? And could a upstream o2 sensor cause this problem?

Not an o2 sensor

have the spark checked when it stalls. It sounds like a bad distributor

I have new wire and plug could it also be a cam or crank sensor and how do I check a coil pack
