Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Eagle Talon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My Eagle Talon will completely stall while driving it. It seems to happen more after it has warmed up. Seems to happen most frequently, after driving a while on the expressway. When you get off the expressway, it stalls. It will not start for a while until it cools down.
We have had this to our mechanic several times and even left it with him to drive to see if he could figure out the problem.
We've repalced the coil pack most recently, timing chain, some of the sensors, etc.
Any suggestions?
We love this car, just can't drive it because it is not dependable.

Stalls like this are often ignition-related and happen when the engine loses spark. The underlying cause is often a bad crankshaft position sensor, or sometimes a failing ignition. A faulty ignition switch that loses contact intermittently may also cause the engine to suddenly die for no reason
