Dropped something in between the slot below the parking brake handle

That is very important and I need out ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated, the object is not magnetic so I can’t use a magnet.

If you look close at the trim cover in front of the brake handle you will see a small split line. That is a cover that comes off. There are clips that retain it. Use a thin tool to slip in the gap and gently release the clips. With that cover off you should be able to reach in and retrieve the item.

I’m having the same issue! I dropped my license in between the slot and can’t figure out how to get it out! I need help! Did you ever get yours out?

If yours is in the same place and the same car the image above should let you retrieve it. The panel just clips in place. If it went into a different spot just ask, you might need to remove the console to get to it, generally though just that cover is enough.

I have a 2005 Honda and I don't see any lines to be able to just take out the cover I did the same thing my license fell in the slot I can see it but I just can't reach it ugh
